Accounting
The Accounting Department manages all financial aspects of a provider’s practice, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgets, state and federal taxes, provider license renewals, etc.
Billing
The MPM Billing Department manages all aspects of a provider’s billing practice, including follow-up on denials and working with the different payors to ensure the best payment possible.
Compliance
The Compliance Department handles coding, charge entry and collections. Certified coders view charges prior to charge entry to ensure charges are billed efficiently and correctly. Compliance oversees private collections on patient accounts as well.
Clinic Operations
Clinic Operations is responsible for the day to day operations of the physician offices. Periodically the clinical processes are reviewed and revised to meet regulatory requirements and to improve the clinical processes ensuring both the patient and staff member have a positive experience. Clinic Operations is also responsible for Payor Contracting, Quality Improvement/Risk Management, and Project management.
Credentialing
The Credentialing Department enrolls providers into payors (healthcare plans including Medicare, Medicaid, L & I, Regence, Premera, Group Health and Aetna. Our high end credentialing software pre-populates the payor applications simplifying the process for providers. Credentialing also obtains malpractice insurance for providers and facilitates local hospital privileges.

The Information Systems Department serves MPM managed clinics through a series of services which include integrating computer systems, network infrastructure, negotiating and managing information technology related contracts, and technology assistance and support.
The department creates the technological environment that enables MPM employees, and providers, quick access to vital information while utilizing the most efficient and cost effective hardware and software.
